Indulge yourself on a unique bespoke high quality shopping spree in the Old Town of Edinburgh.

You will visit a variety of shops and have the option to make your own Harris Tweed handbag.

You will learn about:

• Shetland wool
• Harris Tweed
• Scottish cashmere

We shall visit:

• The Scottish Textiles Showcase
• Hawico luxury cashmere
• Bill Baber designer knitwear
• Fabhatrix
• Islander

As we walk to the different shops on the Royal Mile and the Grassmarket, I shall tell you about the old town of Edinburgh.

This four-hour walking tour gives you ample opportunity to make purchases.

Depending on when your tour finishes and subject to availability of places, at the end there is the wonderful opportunity to join a workshop and make your own Harris Tweed handbag, a lasting memento of your creativity to show family and friends when you return home.

Minimum age requirement for workshop: 12+

There are 4 workshop venues:

• Canongate, 6 Sibbald Walk, Edinburgh, EH8 8FT (open 10am to 6pm) – largest venue
• 37 Marshall Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9BJ (open 10am to 6.30pm) – has café
• Arch 10, The Arches, 19 East Market St, Edinburgh EH1 1DH (open 11am to 6pm) – convenient for train station
• 42 Candlemaker Row, Edinburgh, EH1 2QE (open 11am to 6pm) – the original venue

The workshop must be pre-booked and pre-paid and lasts about an hour to an hour and a half. I shall book and pay for the workshop. I shall not accompany you in the workshop where you will be looked after by the workshop leader.
