Dean Village, Water of Leith and Stockbridge Tour – a photographer’s dream

Dean Village, Water of Leith and Stockbridge Tour – a photographer’s dream

Discover the picturesque setting of a village a stone’s throw from the city centre. Formerly a hive of industrial activity and the centre of milling for around 800 years, Dean Village, with proximity to greenery and water, is now a fashionable place to live. Our walk continues along the Water of Leith to the neighbourhood of Stockbridge, another popular place to reside with many good restaurants, cafes and bakeries as well as a Sunday market. We return to the West End of Edinburgh by a different route which shows you some of the expensive streets of Stockbridge. There is much to savour and enjoy!

Your walking tour starts with an introduction to the Moray Estate, an extension of the new town of Edinburgh, and at the end of the walking tour, West Princes Street Gardens
